Block Printing Workshop and Gallery Tour

MAY 14 | 6–8:30 PM

Join us for a night of art making! Visitors will create their own block print in black-and-white inspired by the dramatic, high-contrast style of film noir. This event will begin in the galleries, viewing work by artists in the current exhibitions, Yoshitaka Amano and Chase a Crooked Shadow: Film Noir as Contemporary Mirror, before gathering in the library for light bites, drinks, and a tutorial on block printing. Led by artists and staff members Michael Duncan from The Warehouse and Madeline Herrera from The Rachofsky Collection. All supplies will be provided. Registration: $30

Participants will design, carve, and print their own work. All materials will be provided. Please note: this workshop requires the use of sharp carving tools.

Registration required. You must be 21+ years to register.
