Though known primarily for groundbreaking earthworks like Sun Tunnels (1973-76), Nancy Holt experimented with a wide range of media. For the March 31 session, we will look at Nancy Holt’s work from the 1960s and 70s, a particularly experimental time in her career. If you have time, take a moment to read two of Holt's writings: The Time Being (For Robert Smithson) [this writing is for her husband Robert Smithson who died in a plane crash in 1973; it is very short] and Holes of Light.
