Midday Assignment: When Were You An Upstander?
- Upstander: a person who stands up for other people and their rights; combats injustice, inequality, or unfairness; sees something wrong and works to make it right.
- Think about an instance when you were an upstander. Upstander moments can be both big and small.
- Or, think of a time when you observed a student act as an upstander. **Other Museum Forum participants can view your video; however, videos are not accessible to the general public.
- Go to FLIPGRID.COM/NASHER. Type in password MFFT2020 (case sensitive).
- Select the “Museum Forum for Teachers 7.7.20” or “Museum Forum for Teachers 7.14.20” topic and watch the video
- Click the + button to log in and record your video describing a time when you were an Upstander. Videos can be 1 minute or less in length.
